Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

Thintent is operated by THINTENT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17022244) with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at info@thintent.com.

These terms apply whenever you use Thintent. By signing in — which is also how an account is created — you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

Thintent is quoting and invoicing software for UK print shops: you build quotes, send them to customers, and turn accepted quotes into invoices and jobs. Sign-in is by email link — there are no passwords, and your account is created the first time you sign in.

3. Your account and acceptable use

Keep the email address on your account accurate — it's how you sign in and how we reach you. You're responsible for what happens under your shop's account, including by staff you invite to it.

Don't use Thintent for anything unlawful, to send spam, or in a way that interferes with the service or other users. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

4. Subscription and billing

Thintent is a paid monthly subscription, billed through Stripe at the price shown on our website when you subscribe. New accounts start with a free trial — no card needed until it ends.

You can cancel at any time by closing your account in settings. Closing your account cancels your subscription immediately; we don't give refunds for the remainder of a billing period. We'll give you reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.

5. Payments between you and your customers

Where your customers pay quotes or invoices online (by card or Pay by Bank), those payments are processed by Stripe and are between you and your customer. Thintent isn't a party to those transactions and isn't responsible for your customers' payments, disputes, or non-payment.

6. Your content and data

Everything you put into Thintent — your quotes, invoices, customer records, and uploaded files such as your logo — belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it purely to provide the service. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for the content of the documents you send — including that your prices, VAT treatment, and business details are correct.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Thintent fast and available, but it's provided "as is" — we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features as the product develops.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under English law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the subscription fees you paid us in that period. We're not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses arising from your own trading decisions or your customers' failure to pay you.

9. Ending things

You can close your account at any time in settings. We may close or suspend an account for a serious or persistent breach of these terms. When an account is closed, your data isn't immediately deleted — see the retention section of our Privacy Policy for what happens to it and how to have it removed.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll let you know through the service or by email; the latest version always lives at this page.
