Add people from your shop

Invite your staff by email. Members do all the quote work; owners also run the settings, the team and the money.

Invite someone

1. Go to Settings › Team.
2. Under Invite someone, enter their Email and pick a Role: Member or Owner.
3. Click Send invite. They get an email with an Accept invite button, good for 7 days.

They click the button, ask for a sign-in link with the same address, and they’re in. Nobody sets a password: signing in to thintent is always a link emailed to you, which works once and for 30 minutes.

Until they accept, the invite sits in the list as pending, with Resend (a fresh link and a fresh 7 days) and Revoke.

What the two roles can do

• Member: writes, sends and manages quotes, jobs, invoices, customers and purchase orders. Sees costs and mark-ups. Can set their own Name on quotes and Reply-to address under Settings › Your quotes.
• Owner: everything a member can do, plus shop settings, pricing, Stripe, billing, payouts, the Money dashboard, refunds to card, the team and closing the account.

A member who opens an owner-only page sees it read-only, with a note to ask an owner.

Change a role, remove someone, or leave

On each person in the Team list, owners have Make owner or Make member, and Remove. Removing someone signs them out straight away. Everyone has Leave on themselves; an owner has Step down instead.

There is no separate handover button. To pass the shop on, make the other person an owner, then step down.
