Change your card or see your bills
Your thintent subscription lives on Stripe. Cards, receipts and cancelling are all there, one click from Billing.
Where it is
Owners have Billing in the sidebar. It shows where the subscription stands: how many trial days are left, when it next renews, or that it has ended. Members don’t see the link, and if they reach the page it tells them to ask an owner.
Change your card, see your bills, or cancel
- Open Billing and click Manage billing.
- You land on Stripe’s billing portal, signed in as your shop. Update the card, download any receipt or invoice, or cancel there.
- Close it and you’re back on Billing.
thintent hosts none of those pages itself, so there is no invoice history inside the app. Receipts are emailed to the owner who first subscribed.
Subscribing
The trial is 30 days and asks for no card. When you’re ready, Subscribe on Billing takes you to Stripe Checkout. The price is the same for every shop, per month, cancel any time. If you have a promotion code, there is a box for it on the Checkout page; Billing itself always shows the full price.
In the last week of the trial you get an email a week out and one the day before. In the last ten days the app shows a quiet banner too.
When a payment fails
Nothing is locked. Billing shows Action needed and the app says so in a banner. Update the card under Manage billing and Stripe retries by itself.
When a trial or subscription ends
Everything you have made stays where it is, and you can still read it. What stops is creating and sending new quotes, and switching anything new on. Your customers can no longer accept or pay by card through their links either, though bank transfer details still show. Subscribe to continue brings all of it back.
If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for, and Billing shows the date.
