Add a press and a paper

Only when you want prices worked out for you.

You can quote for as long as you like by typing prices you already know. Set up a press and a paper when you want a line’s price worked out from what the job actually costs you, with your mark-up on top.

The quickest way: from inside a quote

1. Open a quote line. New lines start on auto-configure; if the switch in the line’s header says Custom input, click Auto-configure.
2. In Printer, choose + Add a printer…. Name it, pick its type and enter what it costs you, for a digital press the Cost / 1000 clicks. Click Save printer.
3. In Material, choose + Add a material…. Name it, pick a Sheet size and enter the Cost / 1000 sheets. Click Save material. It is linked to the press you just added.
4. Enter a Finished size, and a Qty in the line’s price table. Nothing is priced until there is a quantity.

The line now shows its sheets, and its price table its cost and price. Everything you added is in Settings › Pricing for next time.

Or set up first

On the dashboard, the Worth adding card has Set up next to “Your presses and paper”, which takes you to Settings › Pricing. Add the press under Printers, the paper under Materials, then go back to the press and tick the paper under Stocks it runs. A size not ticked on a press won’t be offered for it.
