Offer more than one quantity on a quote

Give the customer a few quantities to choose from, say 500, 1,000 and 2,500 flyers. They pick one when they accept, and that’s the one that goes on the order.

Add a quantity

  1. Open the quote and the line you want to offer in more quantities.
  2. In the line’s price table, click + beside the quantities.
  3. Type the quantity in the new column. What it costs, sells for, marks up and comes to with VAT sit underneath it, side by side with the others.

Price each quantity

Each quantity has its own Sell ex VAT, so you can charge less per copy on bigger runs. The green figure under it is what you make on that quantity, and Each is the price of one. In the example above, 500 and 1,000 are at 100% mark-up and 2,500 is at 48%.

On an auto-configured line

The quantities share the line’s settings; only their mark-ups can differ. Full breakdown has a tab for each quantity, with every part’s cost, mark-up and price: change 2,500’s material mark-up and 500’s stays as it was. Use these mark-ups for every quantity copies the open tab’s to the rest, and Set every mark-up to sets them all at once. Every quantity’s totals stay at the foot of each tab. The sheets each quantity needs are listed side by side under the stock.

What your customer sees

Every quantity is listed on the quote, with its price. When they accept online, they pick one for each item, and the total updates as they go. At the bottom of the editor, the total shows each option, for example 500 £89.40 · 1,000 £130.80 · 2,500 £192.00; with options on more than one line it shows the range. The email says “from £X”.

Remove a quantity

Click remove under it. A line always keeps one quantity; change that one’s number instead. A line takes up to six quantities, and they all share one spec: the stock, press, sides and extras are the same, only the quantity and the price differ.
